The Green-banded swallowtail, Narrow-banded blue swallowtail, or African blue-banded swallowtail is a swallowtail butterfly found in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is named after Nireus, who in Greek Mythology, fought in the Trojan War and was considered the most handsome hero at Troy.
